Tom first discovered his talent for marketing in the early 90′s in the hospitality industry “I was always tasked with increasing sales and driving revenue, so I had to create specialized marketing vehicles to do that”  “Utilizing viral, direct, and onsite marketing, along with promotions, benefits and special events, I have been able to doubled or tripled sales without adversely affecting profitability” Attracted by his evident success, a group of industry colleagues asked Tom to help pave their own path in the restaurant business. Using the marketing techniques that prove so effective, Tom and his partners were able to grow the Wing Factory concept to over six stores in three years.  Later selling those stores and his interests, Tom embarked on a successful stint as a Corporate Chef for Macaroni Grille were he was able to utilize his analytical business thinking to save the company 1.2 million dollars, (Click Here to find out how he did it). Since then Tom left the restaurant business to redefine his life as a marketer.

 

Tom was able to maintain his success as he transitioned into corporate sales and marketing for both an ERP Software Company and Electronic Manufacturing Company.  In early 2001 he really discovered how to leverage his marketing efforts utilizing search engine marketing strategies when he partnered with Brad Fallon to start up the interactive marketing company, Smart Marketing.  While at Smart Marketing he helped grow the company into a ten million dollar a year business, offering a verity of products and services.

Wanting to live the life of an entrepreneur on his own, Tom once again changed direction and founded a set of ecommerce web site selling niche physical products to consumers, www.weddingfavorstogo.com, www.thebestweddingfavors.com, www.egiftbasketstogo.com, and www.myinvitationsandmore.com, which sold wedding favors and wedding related products over the internet..  As an expert in the field of ecommerce and Internet marketing, He has since turned that small investment into a multitude of ecommerce sites and revenue generating ventures.  With over four different stores and 200+ URLs, Tom has been able to drive page views for his sites in to the 100′s of Thousands per month, has optimized PPC campaigns to average a 7% Click Through Rate, gained top rankings in Google for over 10,000 Keywords, and generating over $500k in annual revenue. After four years and having amassed 8 different ecommerce stores, he formed Centripetal Marketing an Ecommerce Consulting Company specializing in Search Engine Optimization, Search Marketing, Social Media Optimization, and Direct Marketing. Tom still helps small to medium size offline businesses implement successful marketing strategies and find there footprint in the there market place, stay profitable and manage their business.

Tom is married with two children; he continues to pursue his passion for the culinary arts.  In his spare time, Tom is a High School Football coach.  He has helped 45 Student Athletes gain athletic scholarships to colleges and universities across the county over the past 10 years.
